Philadelphia Archbishop Chaput Accused of Employing "Mafia-Like" Tactics

Charles Chaput, the Archbishop of the Philadelphia, has been accused of utilizing "mafia-like" tactics by Pennsylvania State Representative Michael Vereb. Vereb made this claim in response to Chaput's personal targeting of the legislators that voted for Pennsylvania House Bill 1947. This bill, overwhelmingly passed in the state lower house during a bipartisan vote in April, would allow child sexual abuse victims to file suit until age 50.
